Welcome One and All.

This is my first post as Zeca Football. Many know me as Zeca from my coaching days and have been lucky enough to be blessed by my vision of the game. I don't really feel the need to go on about my accomplishments or achievements, I'd like to skip the foreplay and jump right into this Christmas chicken with no dry rub.

Tommorow there are some pretty important matches in the Premier league. These are my Matches to Watch for the weekend:

  • Leicester City @ Liverpool: Klopp has been under a bit of pressure as of late with a run of poor results after they casually handed Southampton a 6-1 thrashing in the beginning of the month. Having only picked up one point in their last 3 BPL matches Liverpool will throw the sink @ Leicester at Anfield. Leicester is no easy foe. Having surprised the world by staying atop the Premier League after Christmas with a comparatively miniscule budget, they find themselves challenged to stay at the top given the lack of depth and fatigue that this time of the season tends to bring. This is most definitely a game to watch, especially given the speculation amongst Vardy and Mahrez departing. Many questions will be asked and answered during this game, you'd be foolish to not watch or PVR the match. WAKE UP!

  • Chelsea @ Manchester Utd: LVG!!!!! MOURINHO!!!!GUUS!!!! NEED I SAY MORE?!?!? seriously though. Chelsea is just starting to turn results after their move of desperation by sacking José. Guus is back and he's going to be looking to turn this failing Chelsea season. Again. King Louis meanwhile was reduced to watery eyes in his last presser. British media has been so quick to crucify managers that Van Gaal finds it hard to do his job. This is the stuff that causes managerial errors in game. Will Guus bring the blues afloat once more? Can LVG handle the vulture ridden British media? THIS MONDAY! *technically not the weekend, I know.

  • Southampton V Arsenal: I think this will be a Sainthood Massacre. I coined that. Southampton has been on a poor run of form after impressing last season and in the early stages of this season. I don't expect the dip in form to last very long given their experienced manager and squad qaulity and experience. That being said. MESUT OZÏL is handing Christmas presents this weekend. After taking the League by storm like he's never done before, he is tallying 15 assists in 16 games.
  • The great thing nobody is talking about is who these assists are going to. Well, Alexis is currently injured. So who has scored for Arsenal? Everyone's favourite scapegoat, Olivier Giroud. I have been convinced of Giroud's talent since his appearances at Montpellier. For whatever reason, Arsenal fans can't stand their own strikers. Adebayor, Bendtner and Giroud know all too well that it doesn't matter how hard you play for the Gunners, they will never appreciate their striker. Since the days of Henry, nobody has ever been good enough.

These are my thoughts for today. Read them. Don't. Just watch those f*ing games or don't dare call yourself a football fan.
